Dating While Traveling

I love meeting people everywhere I go; on airplanes, in airports, in bars, etc. I traveled quite a bit in 2021, making up for lost time in 2020. Here are a few short blurbs about people I’ve met.

1. On a plane – A guy seated next to me thought I would be a match for his business partner. An email was sent to make introductions and exchange contact information. The business partner and I sent a few emails back and forth but never ended up meeting.
2. In an airport – While traveling with a girlfriend and sitting in an airport bar there was very hot guy sitting next to me. My friend said to me “if you don’t get that guy’s number before we leave this bar, I’ll be disappointed in you.” Challenge accepted! Colorado Dave (because he lived in Colorado) gave me his number and we kept in touch for a few months. I figured Colorado isn’t that far and why not think about going to Colorado to see him. After a few months of talking Colorado Dave told me we probably weren’t ever going to meet.
3. In a bar – I have more than a few stories about meeting people in bars while traveling. While in Pompano Beach with a girlfriend having a few drinks, an older guy sat down next to me. The old guy proceeds to tell me how he had just retired for the second time and asked if I would be interested in seeing him while I was in town. After I politely declined, he asked me to reconsidering telling me he could “rock my world.” Next!
