Going on dates

Worst Date Ever – Part 1

Going on dates can be fun, awkward or downright weird. After texting and talking on the phone with a guy we agreed to meet. He asked what kind of guy I liked, I said I didn’t really have a type but I liked tall guys with a muscular build (who doesn’t?). He said he was all that but carried a few extra pounds, I agreed I had a few extra as well.

I dressed nice for the date in a skirt and heels. He was already there when I arrived and my first impression was his definition of a “few extra pounds” was different than mine. I am by no means a thin girl but he underestimated his weight by a good150-175 pounds. But I thought, ok let’s just see how this goes.

He told me I looked amazing and had beautiful eyes. After I said thank you, he asked me if I smoked, what kind of drugs had I done/do, when was the last time I went to church. He also asked what I did for a living, did I get bonuses at work, were they good bonuses and what was the dollar amount.

Why I sat through the entire date/interrogation I’m not sure; sometimes I’m too nice and don’t say what I really should say. After dinner he walked me to my car, gave me a kiss and said he’d like to see me again. I replied I didn’t think we had a connection but I’d let him know if I wanted to see him again. I knew I didn’t but just couldn’t say it to his face.

He ended the date by pointing at my chest and said “by the way, those are spectacular.” Needless to say, I never planned on talking to him again. However, it didn’t end there. Stay tuned for the aftermath in Worst Date Ever – Part 2.
